Secure Corporate Payment

The Secure Corporate Payment Rule exempts transactions that meet the criteria of PSD2 RTS Article 17. Under this provision, Payment Service Providers are permitted to waive SCA for payments made by payers who are legal persons (corporates) rather than consumers, where the payment originates from a secure corporate environment.

📘

The SCP exemption applies to payment transactions under Article 97(1)(b) of PSD2. It does not extend to MIT mandates or actions through a remote channel, which always require SCA under Article 97(1)(c).
